Radiology
You've always been told, what's on the inside is what counts. Well it's true! Much of what ails us is going on inside. State of the art technology and hometown specialists help us see it through together.
About
Regular radiology services (plain X-Ray) are provided on-site at the NEA Baptist Clinic for patients needing noninvasive studies, with films available for immediate review by their physicians.
Certification
All technicians at the NEA Baptist Clinic are licensed by the Arkansas Department of Health.
Services
Imaging Center
The NEA Baptist Clinic Imaging Center houses the following services:
- CT Scanning
The CT scanner produces images of the interior of the body, accurately showing the internal organs and structures. For example, an abdominal CT scan may be used to diagnose a tumor or follow its progress during a period of treatment. Accident victims can have their entire bodies scanned for interior bleeding or injury in a matter of minutes. - X-Ray Services
All regular X-Rays are used to quickly evaluate the appearance of a patient’s heart, lungs, or bony structures. A pulmonary specialist may use a chest X-Ray to evaluate for pneumonia, while a cardiologist may use it to measure the heart size. - Magnetic Resonance Imaging (MRI)
Magnetic Resonance Imaging (MRI) is used widely to obtain clear images of anatomical structures and the changes which might indicate the presence of abnormal conditions. MRI provides a better contrast resolution and an improved spatial resolution compared to CT. It also provides an abundance of information about the chemical and physical environment of imaged tissues. - Bone Density Services
- General Ultrasound Services
