Orthopedic Surgery
Healthy is getting back in the game. Whether the day includes throwing a ball or typing on a PC we all want to perform at a high level. But when that's impaired by disease or injury you may need an assist from a capable teammate.
About
Orthopedics deals with diseases and injuries of the bone, joints, back, neck, arms, legs, hands, and feet. In an arm or leg, orthopedics more specifically deals with disease and injuries of muscles, tendons (leaders), ligaments, nerves, joints, and bones.
As examples, orthopedics treats fractures, infections, osteoporosis, arthritis, artificial joints, arthroscopy of joints, reconstruction of knees and shoulders, deep lacerations, torn ligaments and sprains, arms, or legs. Depending on the severity of the condition, Orthopedics can treat you with medication, physical therapy, braces, injections, or surgery.
