Organizations Team Up for Ovarian Cancer Awareness
Press ReleaseJonesboro, Ark., September 18, 2017 — NEA Baptist and First Security Bank present the 6th annual Teal Talk luncheon, raising awareness of ovarian cancer – which is also represented by the color teal. The complimentary luncheon will take place on Wednesday, September 27, and is part of the annual Hope Week initiative led by NEA Baptist Charitable Foundation.
Sanjeev Kumar, MD, gynecologic oncologist at NEA Baptist Fowler Family Center for Cancer Care, will discuss ovarian and other cancers while guests enjoy a free lunch. There will also be a new community panel this year featuring women who have experienced an ovarian cancer diagnosis. The event will take place from 11:30 – 1 pm at Southwest Church of Christ Better Life Center (1601 James St.) and is free to attend. Tickets for the event are required for entry and are limited to the first 200 reservations.
